- ACC Limited (Formerly The Associated Cement Companies Limited) is a Mumbai-based Indian cement manufacturer.
- It belongs to the Holcim Group and is a subsidiary of Ambuja Cements. The name of The Associated Cement Companies Limited was changed to ACC Limited on September 1, 2006. On August 1, 1936, the corporation was founded in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
- Sir Nowroji B Saklatvala was the 1st chairman of Company.
- J R D Tata, Ambalal Sarabhai, Walchand Hirachand, Dharamsey Khatau, Sir Akbar Hydari, Nawab Salar Jung Bahadur, and Sir Homy Mody were among the first board of directors.
- The organization control of the company was occupied over by Swiss cement manufacturer Holcim Group in year 2004.
- On 14th April 2022, Holcim publicized that they would exit from the Indian market after around 17 years of operations as part of a plan to focus on their core markets, and listed its stakes in ACC and Ambuja Cements for sale.
- Dated 1st September 2006, the name of The Associated Cement Companies Limited was reformed to ACC Limited.
- On 15th May 2022, Adani Group buy Holcim’s share in ACC and Ambuja Cements for US$10.5 billion.
