Operation Procedure Vacuum Oven
- Switch “ON” the main power of the vacuum oven.
- The temperature controller display will be on.
- Upper display shall show Process Value of temperature. The lower display shall show the Set Value of temperature.
- Adjust the required temperature by pressing the “Up key” (up) and “Down key” push switches of the temperature controller.
- Then press the “Up Key” (enter) switch to fix the temperature and display show the set value in Yellow and the process value in Red.
- After achieving the desired temperature, keep the sample in the oven and tightly close the door.
- If required, maintain the pressure by input and output knob and using a vacuum pump.
- After completion of the test, release the vacuum slowly.
- Open the door slowly and take out the sample using suitable safety gloves.
- Precautions
- Close the oven door properly to ensure there is no leakage of vacuum.
- Connect the vacuum pump with the hand shutoff valve of the vacuum line the of oven.
Calibration Procedure of Vacuum Oven :
- Calibration frequency: 12 Months.
- Calibration of Temperature: Temperature shall be calibrated by an external certified agency. The temperature will be calibrated at 40°C, 110°C, and 150°C for Vacuum Oven.
- Acceptance criteria: ± 5°C of the set temperature.
- Calibration of Vacuum Gauge: Vacuum Gauge in Vacuum Oven shall be calibrated by external certified agency.
